Sang Hoon Lee, Ph.D.



Sang Hoon Lee is the founder and CEO of ABL Bio. Prior to creating ABL Bio, Sang Hoon Lee served as the head of the Bio Division at Hanwha Chemical from 2013 to 2016. He also was the co-founder and vice-president/CSO of PharmAbcine from 2009 to 2013. Sang Hoon Lee has strong entrepreneur and industry experience. He directed drug discovery and development at Exelixis, Genentech, AstraZeneca, and Chiron (now known as Novartis). Sang Hoon Lee received his B.A. and M.S. from the Seoul National University, his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He completed his postdoctoral fellow from Harvard Medical School and UCSF, and was a Scientist at Stanford Medical School.

Jaecheon Lee is CFO and Vice President of ABL Bio. Before joining ABL Bio, Jaecheon Lee served as the vice president of Strategy at the Bio Division of Hanwha Chemical. He was the Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, the Associate Consultant at Oliver Wyman, and the Product Manager at Johnson & Johnson Medical Korea. Jaecheon Lee received his BBA from the Korea University, and his MBA and MHSA from the University of Michigan.

Head of R&D/Vice President


Weon-Kyoo You is the vice president and head of research and development of ABL Bio. Prior to joining ABL Bio, Weon-Kyoo You was the principal research scientist at Hanwha Chemical, a researcher at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, and a senior research associate at Mogam Biotechnology Research Institute. He has many scientific achievements including 24 peer reviewed publications and 5 US/world pts. Weon-Kyoo You received his BS, MS, and Ph.D from the Yonsei University, and his postdoctoral fellow from the University of California, San Francisco.


Head of Discovery & In Vivo Pharmacology/Vice President


Jaeho Jung is the vice president and head of Discovery and In Vivo Pharmacology at ABL Bio. Prior to joining ABL Bio, he was the principal scientist at Agensys (an affiliate of Astellas), R&D director at HepaHope, and scientist at Biogen Idec. Jaeho Jung received his B.S. and M.S. from Konkuk University, and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He did his postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University and Ochsner Clinic Foundation.
